Water Underfloor Heating System (Ondol System) has had a great impact on the current life-style. Modern-day houses, including high-rise ondol apartments, use an updated version of ondol—hydronic radiant floor heating. This uses hot water instead of hot air to warm the floor.
Water Underfloor Heating System (Ondol System) includes insulation pad, carbon-composite bottom plate, water running tube, carbon-composite top plate, elvan stone slab and water heating system controller.
Due to a property know as thermal conductivity, heat is readily conducted along the length of Carbon-composite. Carbon-composite have a thermal conductivity of about 500 W/mK (watts per meter-kelvin), compared with about 200 W/mK for aluminum or 400 W/mK for copper.
When the Elvan stone is heated, it radiates a large amount of beneficial infrared rays, which assist in healing cold and respiratory related illnesses, reduce airborne bacteria, and have anti-aging effects.
